Message from Principal

Dear Parents and Friends of Our Lady of Angels,

Welcome to the OLA website. I'd like to introduce myself to you. My name is Rosemarie McGoldrick and I became the Principal here this year, 2008-2009. I've been in the Catholic School System for many years and I'm delighted to be here in Bay Ridge at Our Lady of Angels School.

We have had a terrific first trimester. Our faculty, parents and students have made me feel very much at home in a short time. Our students are filled with a great Christian spirit and participate eagerly in all special events like our Cancer Awareness Walk, Monster Mash, Thanksgiving Food Drive, and Christmas Coat Drive.

Our first goal of course is their education, both in the catholic faith and academic subjects. However, learning should be a positive experience and we here at OLA are working hard to meet all the needs of our students and create an atmosphere where children love to learn.

Feel free to stop in and visit us anytime. You are welcome to come in and see our wonderful school.
